About the Role
The Head of Projects and Sustainability is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall management and implementation of Standard Weave Care's projects and programmes. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, sustainability principles, and the ability to drive positive social and environmental impact. The role encompasses project development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, as well as leading the organization's sustainability initiatives.
Academic Qualifications, Work Experience & Other Competencies
Degree in project management, business administration, international development, environmental and social science or related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in the management of social projects.
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful social projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices.
Experience in fundraising and donor relations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
Good report writing, presentation and organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise effectively, work within strict deadlines and align individual work with the Standard Weave's business objectives.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Ability to handle confidential documents.
