MOU WITH ACHIMOTA SCHOOL

In a significant move towards providing access to education for brilliant but financially needy students in Achimota School. Standard Weave Cares signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Achimota School to provide scholarships for students from less privileged homes under its Standard Weave Cares Educational Scholarship Scheme.
The partnership will ensure that, the deserving students who will want to pursue a programme in any social science related course in a government tertiary institution will be provided with scholarship that will cover tuition and accommodation. A strong foundation in the social sciences courses will equip beneficiaries to understand social issues and design solutions with a deep human impact.
This partnership is in line with Standard Weave Cares’s mission which focuses on the provision of inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities in Ghana. A mandate which was adopted from the fourth (4th) goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
This opportunity will further empower students in Achimota school not just to pursue business administration courses, but to become well-rounded social entrepreneurs who can make a positive difference in Ghana. #WhyWeWeave
